Tolya Glaukos

Tolya Glaukos was born in Erlangen and lived in Berlin since the completion of his studies in German and Cultural studies at Humboldt University. After his degree he travelled in Oceania and Southeast Asia and since 1998 he has worked as a freelance journalist, web designer and data analyst. In 1996, for his story "The Unjoined and Non-differentiated" he received the Prize of Wannsee Forum for young German literature. His poetry and prose have been published in numerous literary journals and anthologies; he further published books, such as "Die Junggesellenmaschine"(Palimpsest Press, 2003), "Das heiße Blut der Chilischoten" (2006).
