Inna Herlina was born in West Java. She studied business management in Jakarta, where she also worked in the marketing office of PT. Bakrie & Brothers. She subsequently worked in Berlin as freelance for the Deutsche Welle World in the Indonesian radio station as well as for the German television company ZDF and Arte.TV. She studied Asian and Africa Studies further at the Humboldt University Berlin. Inna is co-author of the information brochure "Indonesien in Berlin”, released from the Berlin Senate for Integration and Migration and also co-founded the German-Indonesian Culture Institute in Berlin in 2003. Since 2004, she has been working as a freelancer for German companies, focusing on the consolidation of their business contacts in Indonesia as well as training and coaching in intercultural management.
